About this file

This is a Purchasing Memorandum from the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision's Division of Correctional Industries, specifically an Invitation for Bids (IFB) numbered 1925 for Calsoft. The document details a contract opportunity with a bid opening date of September 16, 2025, and a contract period from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2028, with options for two additional one-year renewals. The total potential contract term is five years, allowing for renewal under the same terms and conditions if mutually agreed upon by the Division of Industries and the contractor.

The memorandum provides flexibility in contract commencement, allowing the State to adjust start and end dates unilaterally by up to two calendar months, with potential for further adjustments only if the successful bidder approves. The document requires bidders to sign and submit the purchasing memorandum as part of their bid, with inquiries directed to Melissa Jones, Contract Management Specialist I, at the contact information provided. The procurement is being handled through the Corcraft program, which is part of the New York State correctional industries system, and interested vendors are invited to review and respond to the invitation.
