Contract For: Upgrade of existing Inventory Control System; Servers, UPS, and Software.

Location of work to be performed: 730th AMS/TR Facility 71 Yokota Air Base Japan

Background: Currently our existing Inventory Control System (ICS), is operating on Windows Server 8, and needs to be upgraded to Windows Server 16. To accomplish this, we need to upgrade our existing operating system, servers, UPS, and software. By accomplishing this, the system (ICS) will be in compliance with Air Force Instructions/regulations.

Requirements:

1. ICS Primary Server:

a. CPU performance; Intel XEON Processor E5-2609 CPU or greater.

b. System drive configured with redundant technology such as RAID.

c. Logical capacity of storage 200GB or greater.

d. Optical drive internally.

e. 64GB main memory or greater.

f. Must be able to perform “Check Health” condition of hardware without stopping system while operating/running.

g. Require a minimum of 2 LAN ports.

2. ICS Secondary Server:

a. CPU performance; Intel XEON Processor E5-2609 CPU or greater.

b. System drive configured with redundant technology such as RAID.

c. Logical capacity of storage 200GB or greater.

d. Optical drive internally.

e. 64GB main memory or greater.

f. Must be able to perform “Check Health” condition of hardware without stopping system while operating/running.

g. Require a minimum of 2 LAN ports.

3. ICS Shared Storage Server:

a. Storage must be configured with redundant technology such as RAID.

b. Logical capacity of storage 500GB or greater.

c. Connection between Primary and Secondary servers must be fiber channel or greater.

d. Storage must be able to connect/disconnect using CLI, scripts.

e. If Primary server fails, Secondary server will take over ICS operations using information from Data Base on Shared Storage.

4. Backup Server:

a. CPU performance must be the same as Intel XEON Processor E5-2603 CPU or greater.

b. Server has two logical drives; one is the system drive, and the other for the data drive.

c. Drives must be configured with redundant technology such as RAID.

d. Logical capacity of the system drive must be 200GB or greater.

e. Logical capacity of the data drive must be 2TB or greater.

f. Must have an optical drive internally.

g. Must have 32GB main memory or greater.

h. Must be able to perform “Check Health” condition of hardware without stopping system while operating/running.

i. Require a minimum of 2 LAN ports.

5. Network Switch:

a. Number of ports must be more than all servers, peripherals, and 1 uplink.

b. Must be a Cisco SG350 series managed switch.

c. Contractor will provide all new LAN cables for system.

6. UPSs:

a. One UPS per server, and must be able to run all servers and peripherals with its battery power for a minimum of 20 Minutes.

b. UPS must shutdown all servers and peripherals safely and automatically before its battery power runs out.

7. Software:

a. Proper Oracle Database SE licenses for the ICS Main Servers and 1 set of installation media of version 12c must be provided.

b. Microsoft Office Personal must be provided. This must be Downloaded Edition, Subscription version will not be accepted.

8. KVM Switch:

a. KVM switch will be provided. (USAF will provide RGB Monitor, USB Keyboard, with Smart Card reader, and USB mouse).

9. General:

a. All servers must be able to run DoD Windows Server 2016, and Web Server (IIS).

b. ICS Primary and Secondary Servers must be able to run Oracle Database Server.

c. Installation of the Operating system will be accomplished by the contractor.

- USAF will provide the OS installation media.

d. Contractor is required to install all necessary software, to manage all hardware; example; UPS management software.

e. Contractor is responsible for the removal, and installation of all servers, switches, and peripherals associated with this contract.

f. Customer will be responsible for disposal of existing equipment.

g. Contractor is required to supply a detailed breakdown “IN ENGLISH”, of all hardware/software to be installed for 374th Communication Squadron for review/approval.

h. Contractor will provide customer; all manuals, operating instructions, and diagrams. In either Japanese or English.

i. Contractor will provide Startup and Shutdown procedures in both Japanese and English.

10. Warranty

a. A 1 year Warranty for all parts, labor, and technical support must be provided. Technical support: Monday – Friday, from 0900 – 1730.
