Questions and Answers
1) The requirement is for only one (1) Guest Room for each year. Is that the maximum that may be required?
FAR Clause 52.217-6 (Option for Increased Quantity) is included in the RFQ. This allows flexibility for the government to increase the number of rooms required at the unit price listed in the order, if needed. At this time we do not anticipate requiring more than one room.
2) Are only hotels eligible for the bid or will you consider Apartments.
Apartments will be considered. NAICS code 531110 (Apartment hotel rental or leasing) is also acceptable for this requirement. The small business size standard is $7.0 million. Offerors must be registered in CCR under NAICS codes 721110 or 531110 as a small business by the close date and time of the RFQ to be considered for award. Those offerors not registered in CCR as a small business under either of the two NAICS codes listed will be considered nonconforming to the requirement and their quote will not be considered.
3) Will each participant pay their daily hotel bill or is that the responsibility of the contractor to pay the bill then be reimbursed?
The solicitation states, “Invoices must be sumbitted after each calendar month and invoices will be paid with a Government Purchase Card (GPC).” The contractor selected for award will submit a monthly invoice to the government, which the government will pay with a GPC. The government will pay (reimburse) the contractor selected for award.
