Driver will drop-off delivery ticket (invoice) outside by tank. It is acceptable if both tickets are left in the pipe at the USUHS tank.

o USUHS and AFRRI Logistic are one department, two different locations

What are they Delivery times? 24/7 or restricted times? Will/must a person be there when gas is delivered?

Answer: USUHS is unrestricted. However, AFRRI is restricted and gas must be delivered between 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (EST).

Will the key to the AFRRI tank be provided to the driver?

Answer: No.

Although the sign at AFRRI tank location says to contact Security upon arrival, this does not need to be done.

At the AFRRI site, is it a safety issue that the driver will not be able to see the gauge while filling the tank?

Answer: The AFRRI Safety department stated that this is not a safety issue.

Is it a safety issue with the fill line being unprotected at the AFRRI location?

Answer: No (answered onsite by SHD supervisor).

Is the Argon tank size at AFRRI 230 liters or 180 liters?

Answer: The argon tank is 180 liters.

The argon is industrial grade.

What is the working pressure of the argon?

Answer: This information is not available and should not affect quote submission.

Does AFRRI rent or own their tanks?

Answer: AFRRI rents only the argon tank from the incumbent. The nitrogen tanks are owned by USUHS.

Offerors must provide an argon tank that is able to be transported by AFRRI staff from the loading dock to the lab.

What is the exchange time of gas?

Answer: Request is phoned in, empty tank is left outside, it is then taken away and replaced with the full tank (only for liquid argon)

The awarded order will not be a BPA.
