Project # 5582075

SCADA Component Upgrade, Building N23 Water Treatment Plant & Associated Nodes

SCOPE

The work to be performed under this contract is for installation of hardware, programming, and labor/materials/training necessary to allow Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) information to be enhanced by adding hardware components at the N23 Water Treatment Plant and the various remote nodes primarily associated with the Reservoir Tanks and Pump Houses. The existing SCADA system primarily operates via GCI cable, but is subject to disruption. The new system will serve as a back-up. The work is located on the USCG Base Kodiak, Alaska, with an average distance of 2 miles between the plant and each reservoir tank.

The Contractor is responsible for complying with all Federal, State and local construction and & environmental regulations, requirements, best management practices, and standard operation procedures.
