SECTION I SCHEDULES

I.1 DESCRIPTION: This acquisition will be conducted using the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12

(Acquisition of Commercial Items) and 15 (Contracting by Negotiation). The anticipated contract is a firm fixed price hybrid contract which contains three portions. (1) The first is a firm fixed price portion for preventive maintenance (PM) services at all locations throughout the Region. (2) The second is a funded portion for fixed priced minor repairs valued at or below the micro-purchase threshold ($2,000 for Davis Bacon Act and $2,500 for Service Contract Act). (3) The third is an unfunded indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) portion for major repairs that exceed the micro-purchase threshold. Firm fixed price task orders will be awarded via the ID/IQ portion of the contract in accordance with (IAW) with the ordering instructions contained within this contract and the performance work statement (PWS).

I.2 MINIMUM GUARANTEE: The minimum guarantee is the firm fixed price portion of the contract for the one year base period. The minimum guarantee will be satisfied at time of award with issuance of the first task order.

I.3 MAXIMUM AMOUNT: The maximum dollar value of the contract is the sum of the (1) fixed price PM portion of the contract, (2) the funded estimated minor repairs, and (3) the total estimated value (coefficient multiplied by the estimated task order values) of all task order work for major repairs for the one year base period and four one year option periods. The maximum shall not be exceeded except as may be provided for by formal modification to the contract.

I.4 CONTRACT LINE ITEMS: See attachments 2 “Line Item Summary” and 3 “Line Item Detail”. Offerors shall complete attachment 2 “Line Item Summary” and attachment 3 “Line Item Detail” as part of their price proposal.

I.5 INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IQ) ESTIMATES: Once the estimated amounts for the IQ work have been reached, additional task orders may be issued as long as the overall not-to-exceed (NTE) amount of the IQ portion of contract for all periods (one year base period and four one year option periods) is not exceeded and the contractor agrees by signing the task order.

I.6 SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES: See attachments 2 and 3 of this RFP/contract for line item information and applicable periods of performance.
