Questions and Answers ACS Removal Services
1. Any of the outer doors being replaced?
0. No doors are being replaced themselves.
1. The wire hinges, are they to be removed?
1. Door cords will be removed. The wire hinges will stay.
1. Do you or GSA have the cores that need to be replaced in the lock, or is Versar / Mandex ordering new ones?
2. We will be removing the handle requirement since recently getting clarification of having them on hand. Cores will no longer be needed. These requirements will be removed from the contract.
1. Are they using the orginal door handles that were removed? I found them. That could save us a bunch of money.
3. Vendors will be installing said handles that are on hand.
1. When they remove the ADO’s, Who is removing the power source. Stanley said a certified electrican needs to do this.
4. The 120V power from the ADO is to be removed by a qualified electrician to the junction box. All related wiring will be removed from the ADO to the junction box.
