About this file

This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) document issued by the County of Riverside Purchasing on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff's Public Safety Enterprise Communications (PSEC) for scheduled preventive maintenance services of existing HVAC units. The solicitation seeks qualified contractors to provide maintenance, service, and support for the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems currently in operation. The County reserves the right to expand the scope of work to include additional HVAC equipment of similar nature beyond those initially detailed in the RFQ, should additional maintenance and service requirements arise during the contract period.

The RFQ establishes a framework for competitive bidding with specific pricing and service level expectations. The County anticipates awarding the contract to qualified contractors capable of delivering comprehensive preventive maintenance services. The agreement will include defined terms for service delivery, response requirements, and ongoing support for the existing HVAC equipment portfolio. Contractors selected through this RFQ process may be subject to contract expansion provisions that allow the County to add comparable equipment and associated maintenance services to their existing agreement without requiring a new competitive solicitation process.
