On-Line General Databases for DoDEA Information Center System-wide
Solicitation Number: HE125419Q3010
Vendor Questions and Government Responses – Questions 1 through 4
Q1. The original RFQ listed 5 Aug 2019 at 12am as the due date but the most recent amendment has the due date changed to 2 Aug 2019 at 4pm. Why was this changed? Can 5 August still be the due date?
A1. It was changed to match the General database date. 2 August 2019 is final.
Q2. We noticed that this solicitation was for a small business set-aside for HE125419Q3010 and that HE125419Q3009 is unrestricted. Could these requirements be combined under a single solicitation for better pricing and bundling under a small business set-aside or SDV or VOSB set-aside?
A2. The solicitations are separate and shall remain that way.
Q3. Is there a specific reason for requirements to be broken out by grade level? (separate budgets)?
A3. Each grade level consist of different things as well as number of students.
Q4. Is there a way for us to provide a more cost effective total bundled price? (i.e. can we be more flexible on bundling for better pricing by combining the breakdown into a simpler pricing structure on the solicitation?)
A4. Yes you can do this within HE125419Q3010 however, DoDEA will not bundle both solicitations. It is stated in the Specifications Document that bundling of products may be an option to I fit will provide for better pricing.
