SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

RESPONSES TO QUESTIONS

HC1028-12-T-0022 QUESTIONS

Q1. What are the official Cisco Course Number of the following requests?

(a) Implementing Cisco Unified Communications IP Telephony Part 1 (seven seats)

(b) Implementing Cisco Unified Communications IP Telephony Part 2 (seven seats)

(c) Implementing Cisco Unified Communications Voice over IP and QoS v8.0 (seven seats)

(d) Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 (seven seats)

(e) Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 2 (seven seats)

A: The course short titles are as follows:

CIPT1 8.0

CIPT2 8.0

CVOICE

ICND 1

ICND 2

We are unaware of any Course numbers per se. The short titles and Long titles are standard across the Cisco partners who provide the training in our experience.

Q2. Can the Cisco courses be delivered virtually, so the student could come to one of our 2 DC area centers or take it from their desk at work or anywhere they have hi-speed internet access? The classes will be just like any other normal Instructor-Led Course (approximately 8 hours a day for 5 days in most cases), but the instructor delivers the training from a studio with all the students being remote / virtual. The students have a headset with microphone, so they can fully interact with the instructor and have IM access so they can also do so privately.

A: Both options should be available. Some people would be okay with a virtual classroom and others might not and since we are buying seats not whole dedicated classes, we would want our folks to have a choice.
