QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
1. QUESTION: If contractor cannot deliver all 6 the courses outlined in the PWS, can still submit a quote?
ANSWER: Requirement is all or none. Contractor shall deliver all 6 courses.
2. QUESTION: Can students take a break the week of Labor Day (September 6-10) and resume classes after that week? This would mean 5 weeks, one-week break and one week after. It would be a 6-week program that would extend over a 7-week period.
ANSWER: Yes.
3. QUESTION: Can the contractor teach the 1-week carpentry piece at a Government site?
ANSWER: Yes. Government will provide tools and equipment. Contractor shall provide materials such as wood.
4. QUESTION: Do the classes need to be consecutive?
ANSWER: Yes, except for Labor Day week, students can take a break during Labor Day week.
5. QUESTION: The first rendition will occur in the 4th quarter of 2021. Does this mean between October and December 31, 2021?
ANSWER: Fourth quarter of Fiscal Year 21 means between July 01- September 30, 2021. Given the fact that we are pass July 1, course can be scheduled to begin sometime in August but no later than September 30.
6. QUESTION: The second rendition looks like it can occur anytime in 2022. Is this correct?
ANSWER: The second rendition is optional. Shall the Government decide to exercise the option, the Government will coordinate the dates with the contractor. The dates shall fall during Fiscal Year 22, meaning between 01 OCT 2021 and 30 SEP 2022.
7. QUESTIONS: Will students be vaccinated for COVID before attending the class?
ANSWER: Yes, students attending the class will be vaccinated.
