Offer amount must be for ENTIRE project to be considered for award. The offered price shall include any applicable taxes and fees.

0001 Provide all the necessary materials, labor, supervision and equipment to replacement of two aboveground storage tanks at the Federal Building, 200 4th St SW, Huron, SD, in accordance with attached solicitation/ agreement documents.

Amendment 0002: Replace Division 23 as follows:

Division 23: Mechanical

23 13 23.19: Containment Dike, Steel, Aboveground Fuel-Oil, Storage Tank

General: Provide a packaged design fuel oil day tank.

The day tank shall be complete in all respects in order to provide the prime mover (generator) with a reliable, local source of fuel. Day tank shall be use with main tank and fuel delivery system in order to provide an automatic, self-refilling fuel supply system.

Products: The day tanks shall be (2) ea 75 usable gallon fuel day tanks. New tanks shall be UL 2085 fire rated.

New tanks shall have a 2 gpm supply pump and a 2 gpm reverse pump, sender and controllers. New tank package units shall be manufactured by the Global Power Components Company, Or approved equivalent the meets the following requirements:

Features of new day tanks:

H.1.1. UL 2085 Tank

- Tanks are to be UL-2085 Listed with a 2 hour fire rating, under Global Power Components file #MH18481.

- Tanks are constructed in accordance with Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code, NFPA 30; The Standard for Installation and Use of Stationary Combustible Engine and Gas Turbines, NFPA 37; and The Standard for Emergency and Standby Power Systems, NFPA 110.

- Tanks are to be manufactured from 7 and 10 gauge minimum, A569 prime steel.

- Inner tank must be 10 gauge minimum construction throughout.

- Basin side channels must be constructed from 7 gauge minimum steel, with each generator mounting point rated to support a minimum of 5000#.

- The tank shall allow for 3" to 6" of lightweight, concrete insulation to be pumped into the interstitial space per UL-2085 requirements.

- Top cover is to be 7 gauge steel minimum.

- The tank shall allow for 3" to 6" of lightweight, concrete insulation to be pumped into the interstitial space per UL-2085 requirements.

- Lifting points must be constructed for lifting 7,500# each.

- All tank and basin seams and fittings are to be continuous welded.

- Tank is to be pressure tested at 3 to 5 psi per UL #142 requirements using a "2-zero" testing procedure for quality assurance against leaks.

- Tank must be sandblasted per SSPC-SP5 or NACE1 (White Metal Blast Cleaning) and hand prepped before painting.

- Tank is to be primed with a two part polyurethane primer.

- Tank is to be finish coated with two part polyurethane enamel.

- In cases where the tank is wider than the generator frame, either beams or internal tank stiffeners are to be used to support the weight of the generator.

- Tank is to be designed and built for the specific generator, and designed to withstand the weight and vibration involved for the application.

- Tank top openings must all be 2"NPT ports, except for the emergency vent(s), to allow flexibility to allow for exchanging of options, and allow for future retrofitting capabilities.

- Standard options shall include:

-Standard Electrical Stub Up Area w/ Removable End Plate (when required)

- Dip Tube Supply/Return Fitting Package (1/2", 3/4", or

1" NPT)

-Low Fuel Level Switch (Set at 50% full unless otherwise specified)

-Top Mounted Fuel in Basin Switch in Interstitial Monitoring Tube

-Basin Drain (1/2" NPT)

-Locking Manual Fill Cap

-Mechanical Fuel Level Gauge

-2" NPT Standard Vent Cap

- Emergency Pressure Relief Caps

-Flush Mount Lifting Plate (minimum 4)

-Paint Color Black (other colors available upon request)

-Fill/Spill Containment Box w/ Drain

Tank shall be manufactured by a company certified under ISO 9001:2008 quality standards.

� Sub base tank shall be manufactured by Global Power Components, West Allis, WI, 414-475-3000, or approved equal.

The day tank shall be for use with fuel oil as described by NFPA 321, Basic Classification of flammable and combustible Liquids. As defined by this standard, the fuel supply system shall be for use with "combustible liquids" those having a flash point at or above 100�F and further defined as class II or class III liquids. In no case shall a liquid defined as "fammable" or as "class I" or as having a flash point less than 100�F be used. In every case, the system shall not be used or applied at a temperature in excess of the flash point of the contents. Electrical equipment used in the system shall be in accordance with NFPA 30, section 5-7, wherein it states "For areas where Class II or Class III liquids only are stored or handled at a temperature below their flash points, the electrical equipment may installed in accordance with provisions of NFPA 70, National Electric Code, for ordinary locations�"

The system shall be installed in accordance with applicable sections of NFPA 30, NFPA 31, NFPA 37, UL 80 and UL 142. The day tank shall bear the label Underwriters Laboratories (UL) standard 2080.

Execution: The day tank shall be installed adjacent the prime mover (generator), on the same grade. Install on a housekeeping pad adjacent the prime mover. Anchor to pad or per manufacturer requirements.

Provide Schedule 40, ASTM A53, black iron pipe connections to the day tank as shown. Make all connections to fixed installed pipe unions to facilitate tank service/removal.

(1) Supply too day tank, inlet day tank pump

(2) Day tank overflow provided by reverse pump and controller.

(3) Supply and return to prime mover, as recommended by manufacturer.

(4) Vent sizes shall be as shown and as required by local codes and by UL 142, NFPA 31 and NFPA 37 as well as project specification requirements.
