Available in sizes 2”x1 1/2” through 12”x12” with cast iron bodies and flanged inlet-outlet connections.
Standard Features Include n Direct mounting in horizontal or vertical position. Flanges are Class 125 ANSI (ASA) flat faced (For Class 300 flanges consult factory).
n Integrally cast stabilizing vanes.
n Separate fine mesh start up screen surrounds each perforated screen.
n Cast on pads for convenient mounting of standard I.D. support foot.
n Drain/purge plugs for removal of foreign particles without disassembly.
n Class 125 (175 PSI) n 250°F maximum working temperature n Magnetic Plug
The Wheatley suction diffuser is designed to reduce space and installation costs by replacing a long radius elbow, strainer and extended entry pipe on the suction side of the pump. The flow stabilizing vanes reduce turbulence and resulting stress and vibration.
In addition, the suction diffuser strainer removes foreign particles which may be hazardous to the pump and other system components. Consult factory for materials recommendation based on flow media.
Multi-function benefits saves costs and space by replacing:
n 90° Elbow n Strainer n Flow Stabilizing Piping

Available in sizes 1-1/2” through 12” with cast iron bodies and threaded or flanged ends. Standard features include:
n Schrader valve metering connections n Memory stop which avoids the need for resetting after shut-down.
n Plug position indicator and calibrated scale for system balancing and flow regulation.
n Spring loaded clapper allows the valve to be installed horizontally 1-1/2” through 8” vertically.
n Dual O-ring stem seals n Non-lubricated operation n Bubble-tight shut-off n In-line serviceability The unique quarter-turn TDV/TSV design offers backflow protection throughout a wide range of system balancing settings.
Upon closing, the plug rotates to block the downstream port of the valve allowing pressure to equalize around clapper so that it closes with little resistance. Final closing is accomplished by the plug camming against the backside of the clapper. The most satisfactory closure is accomplished by turning the plug to a normal tight fit, then bumping the plug lightly.
1.001 TDV/TSV 06-10
Multi function benefits n Flow regulator valve n Positive shut-off valve n Convenient connections for gauges n Compact size reduces space requirements
Memory Stop Internal Spring-loaded Clapper Valve Clappers are internally spring-loaded for a positive check.
