About this file
This is a Fiscal Year 2027 Water and Sewer Infrastructure Construction contract document for North Carolina, establishing a construction services agreement for water and sewer system improvements. The project encompasses an undetermined number of individual construction projects to be assigned by the Project Engineer, including water and/or sewer extensions, water and/or sewer replacements, low-pressure sanitary sewer installations, water distribution system reliability improvements, and sanitary sewer capacity assurance projects. The contract is structured to accommodate multiple project assignments throughout the contract period, with work scope and specific project details to be determined and communicated by the designated Project Engineer as assignments are issued.
The contract establishes a framework agreement for construction services with pricing, payment terms, and project-specific requirements to be detailed in individual project assignments. The structure allows for flexibility in project scope and timeline, with costs associated with each discrete project assignment. Performance standards, bonding requirements, insurance coverage, and other standard construction contract provisions apply to all assigned projects. The contract term and renewal options, along with specific funding sources and budget allocations for individual projects, are subject to availability and appropriation by the sponsoring jurisdiction.
