Text version
Take your place among those who’ve won battles before you.
Dear High School Senior, Some of the greatest heroes this country has ever known are young men and women just like you. They will forever belong to an elite fighting force of specially trained warriors who made a commitment to protect the future of our Nation.
When you finish high school next year, you can shape your fighting spirit—in the United States Marine Corps.
Few are willing to join the fight. In fact, less than 1% of high school seniors enter as recruits. Fewer still will earn the right to call themselves United States Marines. This is your chance to make a real difference for the future of this country—and the world.
You will be put to the test, starting with 12 weeks of rigorous training that will stretch your physical and mental limits each and every day. You will be forced to dig deep down inside and conquer battles you never knew existed. The self-discipline, self-confidence, and respect you receive in return will be more than worth it.
Are you ready to take your fighting spirit to the next level? Visit us online at MARINES.COM/T25HISTORY to contact a recruiter in your area. As a special thank you for your interest, we will send you your choice of United States Marine Corps dog tags, a drawstring bag, or a T-shirt, along with your information kit.
Do it today. Take your place among The Few. The Proud.
The Marines.
Sincerely, Allen B. Goodyear
Sergeant Major, Marine Corps Recruiting Command
