This amendment is to answer a request for additional information:

Q: Do you happen to have a Spec sheet or more information on the fixtures that are requested.

A: This is not a name brand requirement. UNICOR would like interested offerors to provide a proposal for their firm’s version of an under-mount LED Bar Task Light.

They should meet the following specifications:

Technical Specifications:

"1.2"x1/4" high by 22, 31 AND 40" long
"Minimum 700 to 800 lumens
"Energy Star rated or equal
"UL Rated
"Brushed Nickel/stainless finish
"Must be able to mount left or right
"10' power cord or longer
"Minimum light distribution (footcandles) of 50
"Color accuracy of 80 CRI or better
"Natural white color, Temperature ranges 3500K, 4500K, 6000K
"10 watt
"Low profile light
"Cord management clips

As part of your proposal as well as with the sample provided UNICOR requests that all interested vendors supply their suggested form of installation to use with their particular light products. (screws and brackets, double sided tape and magnets, or any other install products) Method of installation must be compatible with metal, wood and laminate surfaces.

If your lights have separate component pieces (light and dimmer switch) please note in your proposal and price accordingly.

Currently UNICOR purchases the LED Lights on this requirement from Mocha Partners.

QWill UNICOR accept responses for LED task lights in different lengths than the 22”, 31” and 40” lengths listed in the solicitation? Is it okay to respond with different lengths and provide a suggested shelf size utilization for each length of task light provided?
A:Lights may be plus or minus 1 inch from specified sizes.
Q:Is the minimum requirement for 700 to 800 lumens for all sizes or just the larger sizes (31” and above)?
A:700 to 800 lumens will be the required lumens closest to natural light full color spectrum for all sizes

Q: Page 4 of the solicitation states “email proposals are strongly preferred” – standard form 1449 states contractor is required to sign this document and return 2 copies.

· If our response is emailed does that invalidate the requirement for 2 copies?

A: If you email your proposal there is no need to send two copies.

Q: Will you accept equals for the above bid?
