About this file
This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV). The FLHSMV intends to enter into a single source purchase contract with STRAX Intelligence Group for the STRAX Intelligence Platform, which provides video streaming capabilities and real-time special intelligence for Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) command operations, disaster response, and emergency functions. The STRAX platform is the only solution compatible with FHP's small Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) hardware and provides the required combination of live streaming, operational intelligence, planning, and collaboration functions. The contract term is 3 years.
The estimated total contract value is $660,000, with $220,000 per year. STRAX Intelligence Group is the sole provider of the STRAX Intelligence Platform, and the FLHSMV has determined that this product and its sole vendor are the only available solution that meets the needs of the FHP. The contract will cover the STRAX software platform, all necessary hardware, software, training, and support services required for a complete UAS program.
