My Old Kentucky Home is one of the most iconic 19th century homes in America.

On July 4th 1923, the ownership of the estate was transferred to the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a historic shrine, effectively becoming Kentucky’s first state-owned park.
My Old Kentucky Home offers a distinctive meeting and event setting in the heart of Kentucky, centrally located for easy access from all regions of the country. Situated in Bardstown—voted “America’s Best Small Town”—the destination combines historic charm with modern amenities, including nearby hotels, dining, bourbon experiences, golf, spas, and distillery tours, making it an ideal location for conferences, retreats, weddings, receptions, and corporate gatherings.
