About this file

This is a Federal Required Provisions document issued by the City of Redondo Beach, California, outlining mandatory contract clauses for all non-Federal entity contracts made under Federal awards in compliance with 2 CFR 200, Appendix II. The document establishes the contractual framework for RFP#1920-007 and applies to any bidder submitting proposals to the City. The provisions do not specify a particular product or service but rather establish the legal and compliance requirements that must be incorporated into all resulting contracts. While no specific response date or award date is provided in this document, bidders are required to acknowledge their agreement to comply with these provisions upon submission of their bid.

The Federal Required Provisions document addresses performance bonds, breach remedies, termination rights, equal employment opportunity, energy conservation compliance, debarment and suspension certifications, anti-lobbying requirements, records retention for three years post-contract, procurement of recovered materials, restrictions on certain telecommunications equipment, and domestic preferences for goods produced in the United States. The City reserves the right to terminate contracts for convenience or cause with written notice and may pursue all available remedies for contractor non-performance. Contractors must certify they are not debarred or suspended from Federal participation, must maintain records for inspection and audit, and must comply with all applicable Federal, State, County, and City laws regarding non-discrimination and civil rights. No pricing information, set-asides, or funding amounts are specified in this provisions document, as it serves as a standard template of required clauses applicable to federally-funded contract awards.
