Water Treatment Chemicals Advertisement Summary

This is a procurement advertisement issued by the City of Fayetteville, North Carolina, for water treatment chemicals required to support municipal water treatment operations. The procurement seeks qualified vendors to supply various water treatment chemicals on an as-needed basis to support the city's water system. The advertisement outlines the city's need for a reliable supplier capable of delivering chemicals that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements for potable water treatment. The solicitation establishes a response deadline and provides guidance for interested bidders regarding submission procedures, qualification requirements, and evaluation criteria. The contract term and any potential renewal options are structured to allow the city flexibility in managing its water treatment chemical supply chain over an extended operational period.

The procurement does not specify detailed pricing structures within the advertisement itself, instead directing vendors to submit competitive bids based on the city's specifications and requirements. The solicitation may include set-aside provisions for small businesses or disadvantaged vendors in accordance with North Carolina procurement regulations. The incumbent vendor information, if applicable, would be available through the city's procurement office. The city's funding for this procurement is sourced from the municipal water utility budget, which is supported by water service revenues. Vendors responding to this solicitation must demonstrate capability to meet quality standards, delivery schedules, and compliance with applicable environmental and safety regulations governing water treatment chemical handling and distribution.
