Requirements for the purchase of upgrades associated with Spectra-Physics Primoscan Optical parametric oscillator (OPO)
The Space Chemistry Laboratory at Kirtland AFB seeks several upgrade (installation of upgrade shall only be adjusted by authorized engineers in accordance with the OPO manual) options for its currently owned Spectra-Physics Primoscan ULD-240. Generally, the unit must be able to deliver light down to approximately 190 nm using either the 355 nm and/or 532 nm output of the pump laser. Specific requirements are:
1. An integrated ultraviolet (UV) module for LAB pumped primoScan/ULD capable of producing >19 mJ at 345 nm and >9.6 mJ with 240 mJ pumping of 355 nm.
a. This module should be integrated inside of the primoScan unit
b. Should be fully automated
c. Include wavelength separation of the output/pump
2. Include the deep UV option for the primoscan, enabling wavelengths down to 192 nm
3. All necessary crystals to operate between 404 nm and 190 nm
4. Common-port OPO upgrade to allow both signal and idler from a single output port
5. Installation costs should be included for upgrade and re-installation of the system with the pump laser at Kirtland AFB
a. The customer will cover any necessary shipping costs to the facility to perform upgrades.
6. Include any necessary shipping costs, handling, insurance, etc to zip code 87117.
7. The Government will be responsible to ship the Primoscan to the contractor.
8. Warranty shall be in accordance with the OPO manual.
