Questions and Answers for FA9101-23-Q-0028 – DRMS Consoles

1. Section 2.2 - do the slatwalls require removable rear access panels?

Answer: Not unless mounting hardware is inaccessible.

2. Section 2.5 - Can the depth of the consoles be 38” or is 36” a hard requirement?

Answer: 36” should be minimum. Max 42”.

3. Section 2.6 - Please describe the 30” wide swing out locking CPU mount? Would a slide out CPU shelf behind a locking door panel be acceptable? How many CPUs per workstations?

Answer: Ease of access to the front and back of the CPU is the intent. A slide out shelf is acceptable, with a locking door. 1 CPU per workstation.

4. Section 2.7 - Are the 2 – 110V power outlets desktop convenience outlets? Given the 4 – monitors and at least 1 – CPU per workstation, we would recommend an additional 6-outlet power bar mounted in the lower equipment cabinet cable management area. Is that acceptable?

Answer: Yes, those 2 are intended as convenience outlets. A power bar is acceptable if it can be accessed easily.

5. Section 2.6 - How many of the 30”W CPU trays will be needed per operator? Is the 20.5”W acceptable?

Answer: 1 CPU tray per operator (workstation). We would like to keep the 30” width because we haven’t yet selected the CPU that will be used.

6. What is the size of the CPU being used?

Answer: TBD. We don’t expect them to exceed the 30” CPU mount requirement.

7. What is the total quantity of CPUs per operator?

Answer: 1 CPU per operator.
