TRACKING MOUNTS

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented, and with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will NOT be issued. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number for this requirement is

FA9101-21-Q-2013.

The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition

Circular 2021-03 effective 16 Feb 2021, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement DPN 20210224 effective 24 Feb 2021, and Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement AFAC 2019-1001 effective 1 Oct

2019.

The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 333314 - Optical Instrument and Lens

Manufacturing, with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. Vendors shall have this NAICS code reflected in their SAM profile to be eligible for award.

DESCRIPTION: The Holloman High Speed Test Track (HHSTT) collects high speed imagery of test items traveling up to 10,000 feet per second along a 10-mile long sled track. High speed video recording is required to provide data for scientific design, test, evaluation and analysis. Tracking mounts are regularly used to track test articles and collect customer data. Lightweight, high speed optical systems will provide the 846 Test Squadron with up to date tracking systems able to integrate with other updated imaging components. New tracking mounts will improve and modernize the HHSTT’s optical measurement capabilities. This requirement is for three (3) tracking mounts.

SET-ASIDE: IAW FAR 19.502-2(a), this acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.

Offerors can find full details of the requirement in the Atch 01 including the delivery and acceptance locations as well as the FOB point. Please reference the applicable provisions and clauses at FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-

3, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5 on Atch 2. Additional clauses and provisions are included in Atch 2, as required.

Vendors are advised to pay close attention and respond to clauses and provisions (both FAR and DFARS) relating to covered defense telecommunications equipment at FAR 52.204-24, 52.204-25, 52.204-26 and DFARS 252.204-

7016, 252.204-7017, and 252.204-7018. Responses and representations are mandatory with submission of an offer.

This is a Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) requirement.
