Statement of Work
Introduction:
The work will take place in Bldg. 899. The work will consist of installing an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) to the Honeywell Vindicator V5/Site Commander control unit and adding sensors to meet the physical security criteria of AF 31-101 and NISPOM to make Building 899, Arnold AFB, TN a secure area.
IDS Requirements:
A V5 Site Commander/Premise Control unit will be installed in Bldg. 899 inside and next to the downstairs doorway.
ACS Requirements:
The ACS shall provide access control for seven (7) exterior doors. There are two (2) interior doors on each floor that will be monitored by Bestlock Ciphers.
The interior doors will have door contacts installed. There are four (4) rooms upstairs and four (4) rooms downstairs that require motion sensors. The downstairs has a false ceiling and will require above ceiling sensors as well.
The ACS shall employ the following technologies:
1) Identification (ID) badge or card used in conjunction with the access control device that validates the identity of the person to whom the card is issued.
2) A personal identification number (PIN) that is entered into the keypad by each individual. The PIN must be at least four or more digits.
The ACS shall have remote access capabilities and will be integrated with LAN/WAN system.

The above areas will also have white noise generators installed in both the upstairs and downstairs rooms.
Technical Qualifications:
The system is to be designed, furnished, installed, and tested in accordance with Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Standards for National Industrial Security Systems for the Protection of Classified Material, UL 2050.
The IDS will be Honeywell Vindicator technology and the installer must be Vindicator certified in order to be compatible with the current monitoring system.
Installed equipment must be on the Air Force approved equipment list as described in the Air Force Security Forces Center, Non-Nuclear IDS Approval Letter dated 13 Apr 18 or most recent if superseded.
