Q&A for FA9101-18-Q-0037 Q: When you say "The Contracting Officer may exercise the option by written notice to the Contractor 90 days.", does that mean that the option will be exercised within 90 days of the initial contract award?

A: Yes, the CO can add additional valves within 90 days after the contract has been awarded.

Q: When you say "Delivery of added items shall continue at the same rate that like items are called for under the contract, unless the parties otherwise agree.", does that mean that the delivery of the Option items will be coincident with the delivery of CLIN 0001? Or that CLIN 0002 will have the same delivery period as CLIN 0001, but starting at the date the option is exercised?

A: Both CLINs will have different delivery dates depending on the when the order/option is executed.

Q: Will there be no scenario where all 5 units will be ordered at once?

That will likely be the most cost effective option.

A: Yes, provide pricing for both scenarios (order, option placed and order issued for all).
