FA875119BA007 – Upgrade Force Protection, Tanner Hill Questions and Answers – 17 September 2019
Q1: Do all trees need to be removed within the specified vicinity of the clearing/grubbing/fence line? We anticipate that a number of larger trees that do not impact the fence line may be difficult to remove due to the required machinery being unable to access some locations.
A1: If the larger trees are not directly impacting the fence line and the contractor feels the properly felling the trees cannot be safely done without damage to property or personnel, the government will allow the trees to be left alone on a case by case basis.
