ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Clarifications and Additions to Performance Characteristics

Q: The solicitation is titled "International Standards Organization (ISO) Shelter" however there is no mention of ISO container requirements within the document. Is this an ISO container or can it be something else? If an ISO container, does the ISO shipping envelope need to be maintained and convention for safe containers (CSC) certification provided? If it's not an ISO container, does it need to be removal from the trailer or can it be permanently attached?

A: The enclosure does not have to be an ISO container. As long as the requirements for RFI/EMI and sound attenuation are addressed and it is road-worthy. In addition, the structure can be permanently attached to the trailer.

Q: Are dedicated shock isolators required for permanent rack?

A: Required

Q: Are there any special provision required (i.e. isolators or dedicated mounting brackets) other than tie-down points for the mobile rack?

A: Not Required.

Q: For trailer access, do you requires ramp or steps? If a ramp, what are the loading and size requirements?

A: Ramp which must accommodate the mobile rack which will weigh ~400lbs fully loaded.

Q: Does the trailer require an additional jack/outrigger leveling system (four (4) corners) in addition to the standard landing gear jacks?

A: Not Required.

Q: Is there a specified door width and height requirement?

A: The door must be wide enough to accommodate the 24" mobile rack. Height should be standard doorframe height if possible (not required).

Q: Is an intrusion detection system (IDS) system required for this mobile SCIF when deployed and online, if so is there a preferred alarm interface panel?

A: Not Required.

Q: In the questions and answers, there is an EMI/RFI requirement stated, what is the required attenuation level and frequently coverage for this mobile SCIF?

A: EMI/RFI requirement is 35dB attenuation at 30MHz-6GHz.

Q: Is the 20kW generator set diesel fueled?

A: Required.

Q: The spec mentions 15 tie down points on floor of the trailer, does this mean inside the SCIF (which is on the trailer)?

A: Tie down point should be inside the T-SCIF

Q: Does 20kW generator set need an all-weather enclosure?

A: Required.

Q: Does genset need sound enclosure?

A: Not required.

Q: Is the 20kW genset rated as Standby or Prime Power?

A: Generator will be standby power.

Q: Is the genset to be single or 3 Phase?

A: Generator set will be single phase.

Q: What size (amps) do you want ATS rated for?

A: ATS should be rated for at least 100A (same as main panel).
