Truax FA8604-21-R-B022 Question Set #1
Question. I am inquiring on the scope of work for the FA8604 Truax Field, Wisconsin.
It sounds like a technical design and manufacturing project but I want to make sure.
Is the Design System really complete or should it be included in the Scope of Work to be designed?
I ask because there is conflicting information in the request for solicitation under Supplies/Service.
Answer. The design is done and is as shown in AF Drawing NWS008-01 through 05 and specified in the
Purchase Descriptions. The Design System CLIN is your verification of field dimensions and preparation of Shop Drawings either confirming the Government design and equipment/storage aids will be installed as planned, or working with engineer to modify to account for any site discrepancies. Upon Shop
Drawing approving, purchase orders for specified equipment can be placed, manufactured, delivered and installed per specifications and drawings within the contractual timeframes
