Question Set 3
1. In Appendix B, Section 3.2.10 3 calls for lighting to be installed under the Mezzanine. Please advise on the closest electrical box that we would be connecting to on Drawing NDL 102-01 and confirm that the responsibility for running power to the Mezz is the successful bidder.
a. To budget for a conduit and conductor run to the nearest open power source, of up to 250 feet.
(posted4/26/2021)
Additional information received and posted 5/27/2021
a) The location of the closest open electrical box/drop (sufficient for lighting) on the drawing. Panel LP-1A in the main electrical room is the closest lighting panel. Note that lighting in the facility is all ran at 277V, 1-phase else if the mezz lighting is 120V, 1-phase they would circuit to board that serves general purpose loads/receptacles which is panel LP-3A and also approx. 100’.
b) The estimated distance to run power to that location. Approx. 100’ including ups/downs dependent on how electrical contractor routes conduit to mezzanine

1. RE: App. B – Maxi Mezz – 3.2.6. chart show drawer “C” configuration 1 wide, 1 deep. Does this mean no dividers?
a. That is correct. There are no dividers.
2. RE: App. A – Wide Span – 3.2.2. below frame chart mentions a type “D” – not seeing type “D” mentioned anywhere else or not seeing on the drawing.
b. The language regarding type “D” wide span shelving should have been deleted. There is no longer any type “D” wide span shelving associated with the project. Please see App A (REV1) for clarification.

Question Set 1
Question:
c. After reading through the spec sheets, I noticed the Type I, 30”W x 59” H cabinets call for (3) 3.875” (30 point drawer), (4) 5.375”(40 point drawer), and (2) 7” (50 point) drawers.
For a Vidmar 340 model cabinet housing that is 59” high, the drawer points requested would be 350 exceeding the allowable 340 drawer points.
I just need to reduce the points by 10 total to make it work. Could I make (2) of the 40’s into (2) 35’s (4.625”usable height) instead?
Answer:
1. I do not see an issue with this. Just make sure that the descending order is still kept.
-Top- 3x 30 point 2x 35 point (*formerly 2x 40 point*) 2x 40 point 2x 50 point -Bottom-
