Tucson ANGB, AZ Questions/Answers Set 2 2 June 2020
Question: For the pallet rack types D48108 and OS2496 they have back to back sections. Normally row spacers are used, but they are not mentioned in the appendix. Was this an oversite, or are row spacers not required?
Response: Row Spacers are required, see revised Appendix B
Question: For type G24108 pallet rack, 1 bay says "with bins" but bins are not mentioned in the appendix as being required to be supplied. Are these bins existing?
Response: Bins are required, see revised Appendix B
Question: Is the door next to the existing "A" rack operational to be able to place a dumpster near it? If not, which door is able to be used to dispose of the existing material?
Response: The door is operational. Dumpster placement will be discussed at the Post Award Meeting.
Question: Is there a loading dock in the building to unload new equipment?
Response: There is a loading dock.
Question: For the modular cabinet mezzanine, please let me know if an alternate design would be considered.
Response: No alternate design. An exception can be proposed. In doing so, they are still required to provide the same number of cabinets/overheads and we would reutilize elsewhere. In essence, their design would result in 6 less cabinets in the mezzanine configuration, they are still required to provide those cabinets to ensure everyone is providing equal number.
