Luke AFB, Question Set #1
1. For the wide span shelving on the mobile aisle, are you going to want inverted beams on the bottom so there is no gap between the bottom shelf and the carriage?
A. Yes - The PD and drawing will be revised to show the inverted beam on lowest level.
Question Set #2
1. Can you please confirm the seismic zone at Luke AFB?
A. Seismic Design Category B
2. is the AME maintenance in the same building as CTK/COSO storage?
(drawing shows 2 areas)
A. Yes
3. How far is the nearest dock to use for incoming material?
A. Dependant on services/equipment needed at dock (I,e, a ramp, dock leveler). However, further distance is no more than ¼ mile.
4. Will locations for mobile aisle, shelving, and workstations be cleared areas before installation is to begin?
A. Yes
5. Is there any equipment or material currently in the area of the mobile aisle?
A. No
6. Are there any lighting requirements for the mobile aisle?
A. No
7. What type of counter is the Government furnished counter and will it be dismantled by Air Force and ready to be installed in new location?
A. Unsure of question. The Government Furnished Counter will be located as shown on AF Drawing; will not be, or need to be, relocated. The counter is a cinder block half wall with a stainless steel counter on top. Projected clearance underneath the countertop is 36 inches.
