STATEMENT OF WORK
REQUIREMENTS DOCUMENT IN SUPPORT OF
DNA Based Therapeutics 17-071
FOR USAFSAM
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, OH
Objective and Scope: The United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine Applied
Technology and Genomics Division (USAFSAM /FHT) is seeking to procure vendor supported reagents, assays and other supplies necessary to perform analysis of infectious diseases. The
FHT projects support the mission at the USAFSAM by providing continual evaluation, validation, and transition assistance with new off-the-shelf technologies and genomics technologies. The evaluation of improved methods will help fill in critical gaps in troop protection, diagnostics, epidemiology and preventative medicine. FHT's research is to support the medical screening of Airmen throughout their careers by developing surveillance assays for more than 30,000 annual accessions. The work performed herein is intended to develop therapeutic interventions for infectious diseases triggered by the pathogen itself.
