DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE

AIR FORCE LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT CENTER (AFMC)

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE OHIO

FROM: AFLCMC/PZIBA (Shane Spanier) 1940 Allbrook Drive, Room 109 Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433

SUBJECT: Response to Inquiries regarding Solicitation FA8601-18-Q-0121, Audiology Sound Suite

QUESTIONS

1. The elevator size is not large enough to hand the panels. Therefore, the material will need to be brought up in a different manner. Stairs or with a lift through a window. Is this how the booth was originally brought inside the building and up to the 2nd floor?

2. There will be data drops and (I assume) a fire strobe inside the booth. Will this be the responsibility of the booth supplier?

ANSWERS

1. If the elevator is not large enough, the material will need to be carried up the stairs because there is not a window available to bring the material through. The sound booth was initially installed in the 1980’s and we are not aware of how the booth was originally installed.

2. The data drops and fire strobe inside the booth will be done by the contractor installing the sound booth.
