Security System Maintenance

Questions and Answers

18 September 2015

Question 1: Is the Government requesting one fixed price regardless of the number of visits for each

Emergency and Non-Emergency Maintenance CLIN (0002, 0003, 0006, and 0007 as well as each option), or labor rates?

Answer: We are looking for each CLIN to have a fixed price, regardless of the number of visits, for each of the above mentioned CLINs. Historical data has been provided at Attachment 2, should you decide to use it as a guideline for your own estimation.

Question 2: For Realignment & System Upgrades, does the government intend to provide an NTE amount, or should we develop a typical scenario and provide pricing accordingly?

Answer: See Question 1. Additionally, please ensure that you demonstrate ability to provide all services listed in the associated paragraphs of the PWS located at Attachment 1, and include one firm-fixed price for all associated CLINs (0004, 0008, and option years).

Question 3: On page 3 of 5 on the FBO cover page, the instructions say that the offeror MUST include

13 items. Items 7 and 8 are for Shipping (FOB Destination) and Delivery Schedule. The CLINs in

Attachment 3 describe Maintenance and Service (etc.) for the Base Year and 4 Option Years. Since these are “services”, what would we be shipping and delivering?

Answer: Replacement parts may be necessary for some of the maintenance, so we are including FOB

Destination. For Delivery Schedule, we are asking for you to confirm whether or not you agree to the

Period of Performance.
