1Is this a new requirement, a replacement for someone
that has left, or a continuation/re-bid of a previous contract?N/ATHIS REQUIREMENT IS A CONTINUATION OF A PREVIOUS

CONTRACT THAT WAS A SOLE SOURCE.

2If a previous contractor existed, is there any reason for you to
believe that this contractor would not be bidding this RFP?N/ATHIS RFP IS FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION SO THE PREVIOUS

CONTRACTOR CAN SUBMIT A BID.

3Cost Item 1002 states a “Base Period of Performance”. Should
this be “Option 1 Period of Performance”, to coincide with Item 1001?Attachment 1.

PERFORMANCE: 16 JUNE 2015 THROUGH 15 JUNE 2016” TO COINCIDE WITH CLIN 1001. AN AMENDMENT WILL BE ISSUED TO THE RFP ATTACHMENT 1. SOLICITATION DOCUMENT TO CORRECT THIS.

4You list Travel for MRA Expert (Items 0002 and 1002) as “12
each.” How is this possible, as travel costs will vary across suppliers (e.g., airlines, hotels) and the number of classes and trips may vary (section 3.3.2, 3rd paragraph “…actual dates, locations, and number of classes may change.”) over the next 24 months? Please explain what cost estimate you would like from us.Attachment 1.

If so, how much vacation and/or sick time have you budgeted for?Attachment 2.
SOWSICK TIME AND VACATION DAYS ARE NOT WRITTEN INTO

THE CONTRACT. AS A PERFORMANCE BASED-CONTRACT, THE CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO IN ACCORDANCE WITH PERFORMANCE METRICS. IF THE CONTRACTOR IS TAKING VACATION OR SICK DAYS, THEY MUST STILL BE ABLE TO MEET THE PERFORMANCE METRICS. THIS CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED BY ACCOMPLISHING THE TASK BEFORE VACATIONS, COORDINATING VACATION TIME AROUND SCHEDULED EVENTS, MAKING UP LOST WORK DUE TO SICK TIME ON OTHER DAYS OR WEEKENDS, ETC. AN UPDATE WILL BE ISSUED TO THE SOW TO ADD PERFORMANCE METRICS
