1. How will mobilizations be paid? Do they need to be included in the overall price?

- Mobilization will be covered in the overall price of each Task Order.

2. How will Maintenance of Traffic be handled? What will the contractor need to do for this?

- The contractor will have a radio supplied by Base Ops. He will have to escort his vehicles on and off the airfield. The tower will notify the contractor if there is any aircraft in his area and will ask him to exit if needed.

3. What will the minimum dollar amount be for a specific task order?

- The minimum dollar amount for each order will be $2,000

4. Will removals be paid under line item 1AS and the new work paid under the actual work item? I just want to clarify that the removals are not to be included in the asphalt or concrete pavement.

- That is correct. It is not part of asphalt or concrete pavement

5. Will all sealing be paid under the sealing number? Again, I want to clarify that the sealing does not need to be included in the concrete pavement number.

- It shows sealing on the detail and should be included as part of the concrete replacement.

6. For the partial depth repairs, can the concrete be a bag material such as Sakrete or Set 45?

- No. You need to follow what is in the specifications and it is a submittal item. Sealing the joints on spall repairs is part of the cost.

7. Will the airfield tie downs be included as part of new concrete pavement and not installed separately?

- If existing there will be an item for concrete removal along with the tie down. For new projects they will be listed separately.

8. In regards to the liquidated damages, will the time limit on each task order be negotiated with the successful contractor?

- The period of performance will be determined individually for each Task Order with the successful contractor.

9. Can you please provide a list of the previous task orders issued under previous contracts?

- The previous Task Orders ranged from 6-7 a year with a range of $9,000-$341,000

10. Can you provide the previous contract costs?

- The previous contract cost was for a contact maximum of $4.5 million
