SUPPLIES OR SERVICES AND PRICES/COSTS

This RFQ contemplates award of a Requirements type contract as defined in FAR 16.5.

The mechanics of this contract type will involve the issuance of separate delivery orders specifying the Contract Line Item Number(s) in the applicable contract period. The Government may issue multiple delivery orders in any given contract period. The quantities listed in the Schedule represent the Government's Best Estimated Quantities (BEQs) and do not represent a minimum or maximum quantity. Failure of the Government to order the BEQ quantity will not entitle the contractor to an equitable adjustment in price under the contract.

Additional subline items may be established in the individual Orders for funding purposes if required.

The Government anticipates that orders for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements will be issued under this contract. However, no orders for FMS requirements will be issued unless a valid Letter of Offer and Acceptance for the items to be ordered has been signed by the United States Government and the FMS customer government. Orders for FMS requirements will identify the FMS customer, applicable funding, and other appropriate information.

NSN 3655-00-429-2896RN IS FOR AUTHORIZATION AND SOLICITATION
