RFP-FA8524-22-R-0007- Questions/Answers Set 1 3 February 2022

1: What is the estimated annual number of transmissions you anticipate needing overhaul?

Answer: As per the solicitation, it is estimated that there will be 12 Units over 3 years. This quantity could be more or less depending on mission needs.

2: What is the basis for the requested 60 day repair turnaround time? Is this the current standard offered/delivered by Corpus Christi Army Depot?

Answer: It is not based on CCAD’s lead time. The solicitation will be amended to TAT of 180 days.

3: Will the contractor have access to DLA as a supply chain source for repair parts?

Answer: Contractor is responsible for their own supply sources. If parts are needed from DLA, that will have to be between DLA and the Contractor.

4: Do they expect us to follow existing H-60 Depot Maintenance Work Requirements (DMWR)?

Answer: Yes, they need to follow the DMWR requirements as the overhaul would be conducted through the instruction of the Army DMWR.

5: Do you require the same corresponding life limits for your transmission and components as the U.S.

Army does on their transmission and components?

Answer: The life limit on the proposed transmissions will require overhaul every 2,500 hours.
