VENDOR QUESTIONS
27 Oct 2020
Agilent GCMS Systems (#2) shows 2 part numbers and one serial number. Is this 2 different Single S/SL Inlets? If so, can you clarify the serial number for each?
RESPONSE: The Subject Matters Expert stated they do not each have a separate S/N, they are 2 separate S/SL inlets but are both exactly the same in composition.
Can you please clarify CLINs 0004 through 4004 on page 1 of the “Combined Synopsis/Solicitation” document? They state Auto Injector Repair. Is the Auto injector currently not functioning? If so, in what way is it failing? If the unit is down and in need of repair, shouldn’t CLIN 0004 be the only necessary one for this service and CLINs 1004-4004 be removed? I ask, because it appears, based on the listed serial number of the unit, that the maintenance service costs are addressed in CLINs 0005 through 4005 for the same unit. Or would the Government like a price of $0.00 entered for CLINs 1004-4004, since the repair will be completed in the base year?
Those CLINs reference the maintenance of auto injector, serial number US13290869. Appendix B shows that unit belong to “System #2”, which is to be priced under CLINs 0002 through 4002. Should CLINs 0005 through 4005 be eliminated completely, as they are redundant?
RESPONSE: CLIN 0004 = Auto injector Module repair and CLIN 0005 = Auto Injector Crosslab repair. CLIN 0004 is a quoted price for the yearly cost of coming in to repair the Autoinjector if necessary. CLIN 0005 is a quoted price to perform a yearly PM on the Auto injector. The service for the autoinjector is setup just like the service for the other items on the quote, yearly cost of coming into repair the item if necessary.
This auto injector is on a separate GC/MS that is not part of the service quote so it was separated out by itself and is in full working order.
