AMENDMENT 1
1. Q: Who is the manufacturer of the blast and recovery equipment?
A: The blast and recovery equipment was done by Clemco industries
2. Q: Who is the manufacturer of the Blast robots and what programming language is needed to program the robots?
A: South West Research Institute designed and built the robots. The Robot Controller is KUKA brand using KRL (Kuka robotic language) and C# as programing languages.
3. Q: Can you provide model numbers for the blast equipment and robots?
A: Equipment number
012506, Robotic Blast (East side), model # J04484, serial # 50344 (Clemco) 012505, Robotic Blast (West side), model # J04484, serial # 50343 (Clemco) 012506, Robot, model # unknown, serial # unknown, (Southwest Research) 012506, Robot, model # unknown, serial # unknown, (Southwest Research)
4. Q: How often is the blasting equipment utilized? (Daily, weekly, one shift 2 shifts, etc...)?
A: Blast equipment currently has not been used more than one or two weeks out a month, but the plan will be to use it 24/7 once programmed for the specified aircraft.
5. Q: Is the equipment used on weekends?
A: The equipment may be used on weekends based on workload requirements but not scheduled to run on weekends.
