Question:

If I may ask reference this SOL for the ( 2 ) 10' x 32' x 9' Safety Storage will there Be offloading equipment available?

Answer:

The Government will perform the offloading. The supplier will need to provide adequate offloading instructions, date of delivery, as described in the Specification. Adequate offloading instructions should define the necessary equipment to perform the offloading.

Question:

I am in review of the attached details for your safety storage building requirement. I do have some questions regarding the same.

1. Where do you want to put the door?

2. Could you possibly provide detailed drawing of your requirement.

Answer:

I've added the right side sketch to the specification. This is the preferred location, but if there is a solution where it is located on either the right or left side, the actual side to side measurement can vary. I don't have a more detailed drawing. This is a sketch of approximately what we're looking for.

The overall dimensions, the roll up doors, and the side door are the most important dimensions. The overall interior dimensions should be approximately 97" deep, 361" wide and 96" high. These take into account the construction, sump, and foundation structure.

Question: Do these storage units need to be placed on a concrete pad. That is the diagrams I am getting from the supplier. This would mean that we need to excavate place a concrete pad and anchor the storage container to the new pad. The SOW indicates these are to be relocatable.

Answer: We are planning to place them on a concrete area on the flight line. We really are just looking for the installation instructions, and not to have you install them. Yes, they are should be relocatable.
