| PCIII Phase II Fasteners RFP | |||
| Request Date | Request | Response Date | Govt Response |
| 18-May | In looking thru the kit list data, it was noticed that some of the PN info is cut off. There are several on page 11. Is there any way you can provide a copy with all the PN info visible. Would it be possible to get the spreadsheet? | 19-21 May | A new excel spreadsheet of the BOM is being attached to this synopsis |
| 18-May | In the presolicitation notice you just released, it states that the minimum kit buy is 14. Is that 14 of each of Mod Fastener kits, Accessory Kit and Oversize and repair kits or is it 14 total and a mixture of the 3? | 19-21 May | 1st Delivery Order: one NXE kit with approved First Article Testing (FAT), one PXE kit with approved FAT and one QXE kit; 13 MXE kits. |
SEE SECTION L IN RFP FOR "NO LATER THAN" DELIVERY DATES
| 18-May | The kit list you provided contains 1354 different part number. 32 of them indicate that there is a FAT Required. That number seems like it is not even worth it to do the FAT especially since these are commercial items. Is the FAT really required on these items? | 19-21 May | FAT is required because these 32 items (14 NXE Kit, 18 PXE Kit items) have drawings or specs that are unique to T-38 or they are critical safety items (CSI). A waiver process will be outlined within the PCIII Fasteners RFP. |
| 19-May | Some of the parts in the NXE list have a NSN. The same PN in the QXE list say NSL. | 19-21 May | CR3553-4-06 had NSL in the QXE Kit and stock number 5320-01-043-4366 in the NXE Kit. NXE kit is correct, and QXE kit has been updated with NSN. |
HL218PB-6-3 had NSL in the NXE Kit and stock number 5306-00-522-1813 in the QXE Kit. QXE kit is correct, and NXE kit has been updated with NSN.
HL218PB-6-5 had NSL in the NXE Kit and stock number 5306-00-410-1749 in the QXE Kit. QXE kit is correct, and NXE kit has been updated with NSN.
HL63PB-6-8 had stock number 5320-00-753-8712 in the NXE Kit and stock number 5320-01-177-9794 in the QXE Kit. QXE kit is correct, and NXE kit has been updated with NSN 5320-01-177-9794.
HL64PB-6-6 had stock number 5320-00-835-2216 in the NXE Kit and stock number 5320-01-522-4567 in the QXE Kit. QXE kit is correct, and NXE kit has been updated with NSN 5320-01-522-4567.
| 19-May | The nomenclature between the lists is different for the same PN. | 19-21 May | Ignore any “oversize” description in the N-Kit as this is Government nomenclature for historical purposes. “Blind Bolt” and “Visu-Lok” nomenclature is considered synonymous. |
| 19-May | Some of the parts on the NXE list have alternate PN and NSN. The same PN on the QXE list does not. Are the alternate parts acceptable to use on the QXE list as well? | 19-21 May | Yes, the alternate parts are acceptable to use on the QXE list as well |
| 19-May | On the NXE list there are 2 duplicate parts. Page 4 line 70 and Page 5 line 1 are the same PN (HL220-6-9) with different quantities. One of them is probably a mistake. | 19-21 May | HL220-6-9 duplicate entries have been corrected. |
| 19-May | On the NXE list there are 2 lines with the same PN but different nomenclature (HL19PB-5-3, Hi Loc OR Pin Rivet?). | 19-21 May | HL19PB-5-3 duplicate entries have been corrected and corrected nomenclature. |
| ADDITIONAL CHANGES: PXE Kit M8341318-C004BB is corrected to M83413/8-C004BB and NSN added. QXE Alternate part number(s) table added as separate tab. |
