STATEMENT OF NEED REV 2

The government has a requirement for one (1) restroom trailer, and one (1) locker room trailer with the following specifications:

1.1 Restroom Trailer:

1.2 The restroom trailer shall be a minimum of 28’ long, a minimum of 8.3 feet wide with a minimum interior of 7.5 feet in height. Restroom trailers shall be towable with the use of a ¾ ton to 1 ton tow vehicle and have a hitch 2 and 5/16 ball for towing.

Restroom trailer shall have appropriate electric power hook up cord that will not exceed 208V/50 Amp and be 50 feet in length. The entire trailer will work off of this power cord and will have a main distribution panel in the utility room. The restroom trailer will include climate controls for heating and cooling. Restroom trailer shall have 1 holding tank that is min of 1000 gal for waste water and a hose connection for potable water. Restroom trailer shall include a small hot under the sink water heater to heat the water to 90 degrees. Restroom trailer shall have an accessible connection to pump and service the waste tank quickly. The furnishings for the units are as follow:

• Water proof wall system that will protect all of the outside walls from any water on the floor.

• Floor shall be a rubber type coin surface and sealed to the walls for a wash down type restroom.

• Restroom will included sinks with a vanity storage underneath, toilet paper holders, paper hand towels, and soap dispensers. Solid surface counter top and recessed sinks with high quality facets.

• Solid surface type toilet partition and urinal screens.

• Included in the layout of the trailer there shall be a small utility room with an outside door for storage and cooling and heating equipment.

• Ventilation system with outside air intake. The restroom trailer shall be made so that the whole trailer can be winterized very easily with the manufacture providing detailed instruction as to winterizing steps. The trailer shall be designed to have a structure and support steel frame along with axels, wheels, and suspension so the trailer can be towed on the highways at speeds of 70 miles an hour. Any water piping exposed shall be insulated and heat taped. This trailer will be exposed to temperatures ranging from 0 to 100 Degrees Fahrenheit. The small Mechanical room shall be heated as well.

1.3 Men’s Restroom: Shall have a minimum of 2 high quality toilets, 3 high quality urinals and 2 high quality sinks.

1.4 Women’s Restroom: Shall have a minimum of 5 high quality toilets, 2 high quality sinks.

2.1 Break Room Trailer: Size of this trailer will be a minimum of 28’ long, a minimum of 8.3 feet wide with a minimum interior of 7.5 feet in height. Trailer shall be towable with the use of a ¾ ton to 1 ton tow vehicle and have a hitch 2 and 5/16 ball for towing. Trailer shall have appropriate electric power hook up cord that will not exceed 208V/50 Amp and be 50 feet in length. The entire trailer will work off of this power cord and will have a main distribution panel in the utility room. The Trailer will include climate controls for heating and cooling.

Trailer shall have 1 holding tank that is a min of 500 gal for waste water and a hose connection for culinary water. Trailer shall include a small hot under the sink water heater to heat the water to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Each trailer shall have the same accessible connection to pump and service the waste tank quickly. The furnishings for the units are as follow:

• Water proof wall system that will protect all of the outside walls from any water on the floor.

• Floor shall be a rubber type coin surface and sealed to the walls for a wash down type.

• Break room will include kitchen-type sinks with a cabinet storage top and bottom, as well as paper hand towel and soap dispensers.

• Solid surface counter top and recessed sinks with high quality faucets.

• Included in the layout of the trailer there shall be a small utility room with an outside door for storage and cooling and heating equipment.

• The breakroom trailer shall be made so that the whole trailer can be winterized very easily with the manufacture providing detailed instruction as to winterizing steps. The trailer shall be design to have a structure and support steel frame along with axels, wheels, and suspension so the trailer can be towed on the highways at speeds of 70 miles an hour. Any water piping exposed shall be insulated and heat tape. This trailer will be exposed to temperatures ranging from 0 to 100 Degrees Fahrenheit.

3.0 The exterior of both trailers shall be high quality metal or fiberglass surface that is completely sealed from the walls to the roof. All seams are to be double sealed and all penetrations will be double sealed. Walls shall be insulated. The hitch shall be painted high quality paint along with a rubberized under coating underneath the entire trailer. The trailer shall have traveling lights, running lights, turn signal and break lights. Trailer shall require that it is towable to 70 MPH,and include all department of transportation safety lights, turn signals, break lights and running lights. All Exterior doors shall be insulated with a weather striped door system hardware that can be completely locked and secured and also include a hydraulic closer. Both trailers shall have built in steps and handrails as required. Both trailers shall have adequate lighting up to 70 foot candles with lighting over all vanities and sinks, with exterior lights next to doors. Jacks shall be mounted in the corners of the trailers.
