52.212-4(c) - Changes Addenda

Due to continuous updates/improvements in technology and continuous product innovation, AutoCrib may manufacture new products after the contract award. Therefore, these new products, unknown prior to award, would not be on the contract listed for order.

Addition of AutoCrib Items Any new products Autocrib manufactures will be supported under the term of this contract. The parties shall enter into negotiations, if necessary, to determine the impact of adding new Autocrib products as a line item within this contract. The Contractor shall not effect such change until authorized by the Contracting Officer (CO) by contract modification. Approved additions, later deemed unacceptable, will unilaterally be replaced with the originally proposed item by contract modification.

Process to Add Line Item Additions to the Contract All items added to the contract will be issued as a contract modification by an AFSC/PZIMB CO. The following procedures shall be used for solicitation, negotiation, and award of item additions:

1) A Letter Request for Proposal (RFP) for item additions will be issued and will include a list of AutoCrib Products to be incorporated into the contract. The Contractor's proposal shall be furnished to the CO within ten (10) working days from the date of the RFP.

2) Each proposal shall include proposed pricing/cost by Line Item Number on the spreadsheet provided by the Government.

3) The contractor shall submit the proposal via electronic means to the annotated point of contact. The media shall be compatible with or saved as Microsoft Office 2007 suite or newer or Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF).

4) Upon receipt of proposal, the Government will evaluate the proposal. In accordance with FAR 15.403-3, the contractor shall submit other than certified cost or pricing data in support of any proposal at the Government’s request. This data will be used for proposal analysis in accordance with FAR 15.404-1(b).

5) The Government reserves the right to withdraw the RFP at any time prior to release of modification to the contract. This decision shall be final and conclusive and shall not be subject to the Disputes Clause or the Contract Disputes Act.

6) Bid and proposal costs shall not be a direct charge to this or any other Government contract.

7) Upon receipt of any fully signed and executed modification for item additions, the contractor shall furnish to the Government the supply at the price/cost set forth in the modification when ordered by the Government.
