Q&A Round 2 for FA8125-16-Q-0042 - Upgrade Augmentor Fuel Pump Test Stand

Q14. Reference SOW paragraph 2.2.11.2.2. Please confirm that valves 560A and 564A do not need to be replaced - only the components that control them.

A: Correct, valves 560A and 564A are not required to be replaced.

Q15. Please confirm that statements such as "All hoses shall be rated for…" and "All valves shall be rated for…" are applicable only to those items changed or modified in association with this upgrade (as opposed to suggesting that the vendor shall take responsibility for ratings of such items even if they are existing and not being changed).

A: Correct, the statements are only applicable to those items changed or modified in association with the upgrade.

Q16. Reference SOW paragraph 2.2.16.6. If the vendor is proposing a PLC-based DAQ system and PC based test software, is a spare PC and PLC required for this requirement or just the PC?

A: Only a spare PC is required.

Q17. Appendix G refers to 801A - 801P as "Pressure Transducers". However, the diagrams and IPB suggest that these are "Pressure Gauges". The same issue applies to 804A. Please clarify.

A: Items 801A through 801P and 804A are currently gauges. The requirement is to provide new transducers that will be displayed on the service LCD screen as required by Paragraphs 2.2.17.9.1 and

2.2.18.4. The transducers will replace the gauges.

Q18. Appendix F, Items E558A, E572A, E536A are identified in the IPB as made by Testek. Are equivalents acceptable?

A: Equivalents are acceptable.
