QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Questions about the requirement:
For item 0001 is there only one application required of each tool? Is the fastening strategy a basic torque strategy or does it involve any torque plus angle requirement, yield strategy, etc? Are there any special communication requirements of the controller other than displaying the torque achieved and a green or red light (OK/NOK) for the operator? Also should this quantity be 8 instead of 4 to match the number of tools in items 0002 and 0003?
For items 0002 and 0003 would a faster tool be preferred or is a slower less expensive tool preferable? Are there any RPM requirements? Roughly how many cycles would be put on each tool per 8 hour shift?
For item 0005 is the length of the cable to be 3 meters?
Answers:
(user’s response)

4. Slower is preferred.
5. Our rate of use is 110 bolts in six production hours.
6. The requirement is for 10ft (3m) and 30 ft (10m) cables {see respective CLINs (Contract Line Item Number) for respective lengths of cables for each CLIN}.
