Inspection Requirements: Commercial Item Inspection in accordance with FAR 52.212-4 Quality Requirements: Higher Level Contract Quality Requirements in accordance with FAR 52-246-11. A quality system compliant with AS9100 or ISO 9001:2008 is required. Compliance is demonstrated by certification or third party audit findings, such as from a DCMA QMS audit.

Higher-level contract quality requirements, including nongovernment quality system standards adopted to meet DoD needs, are listed in the DoD Index of Specifications and Standards.

STATEMENT

"I HAVE REVIEWED THE REQUIREMENT, INCLUDING AVAILABLE TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION, AND BELIEVE THAT IT DOES NOT REQUIRE THE CONTRACTOR USE CLASS I OZONE DEPLETING SUBSTANCES (ODS) IDENTIFIED IN AIR FORCE POLICY, NOR IS IT WRITTEN SO THAT IT CAN

ONLY BE MET BY THE USE OF A CLASS I ODS."
