QUESTION 1. Will the Government change the pricing for the front-load containers to a monthly flat rate (including transportation and disposal) using the pounds to yards conversion for reporting tonnage?
ANSWER 1. No.
QUESTION 2. If the pricing will not be changed, would the Government accept estimated tons for the front-load containers based on a pounds per yard conversion applied to CLIN xx18 in lieu of weighing the trucks before and after service to apply to CLIN xx18?
ANSWER 2. No.
QUESTION 3. Is the Government able to provide a longer transition period than the two weeks cited in PWS para. 4.2.
ANSWER 3. No. Based upon current timeline, anticipated date of award is 15 September 2021 which allows for a two (2) week transition period. However, efforts will be made to award prior to this date and provide the Awardee with additional time for transitioning.
QUESTION 4. Does a prime contractor need to disclose what subcontractor, if any, they will use to perform a portion of the work related to this contract?
ANSWER 4. Yes.
QUESTION 5. CLIN xx08 – Unscheduled Items Pick-up and Special Events - Are the weights associated with these items accounted for in the 631 tons on CLIN xx18?
ANSWER 5. Yes.
QUESTION 6. Currently cardboard and white paper are combined for recycling. Is the Government considering the separation of the cardboard and white paper a possibility during the contract period?
ANSWER 6. No.
