Question for Enviromental Services FA6703-17-Q-0006
1. I have a question concerning the Hazardous Waste and Storm Water Sampling Services at Dobbins ARB, Georgia (solicitation # FA6703-17-Q-0006). The Performance Work Statement for this project states "On-site work shall be accomplished on weekdays, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M." I would like to confirm that if a rain event is predicted to occur at 3:00 P.M. or sometime in the afternoon the consultant would likely need to attempt to schedule sampling for another predicted rain event that would start in the morning, or would there be flexibility to sample after the 4:00 P.M. hours of operation to capture the samples from an afternoon rain event?
Answer: Yes, in the instance where a rain event that occurs at 3pm, there is flexibility for sampling to occur after 4pm.
Only 1 rain event per quarter is required to be sampled, so if there are several weeks left in the quarter, the vendor could choose to wait for another rain event rather than rush mobilization for a late afternoon rain event.
