Solicitation FA665621Q0005 Local Telecommunication Services (LTS) Questions and Answers

1. If phonebooks are not available, is this requirement mandatory to delivering services?

Answer: The phone books are not mandatory to delivering services.

2. Will Youngstown accept bids for an alternate solutions?

Answer: The Youngstown Air Reserve Station will not be accepting proposals for alternate solutions because we do not have the bandwidth or capability to do so.

3. Is there an incumbent contract/contractor currently fulfilling these services? Would it be possible to get the contract number, duration and value that we can use as a reference?

Answer: The previous contract was FA877313C0059 with United Telephone Company of Ohio. This was a 5 year contract. Service is currently being provided by United Telephone Company of Ohio (Century Link).

4. In reviewing the Quote spreadsheet, the quantity for some lines does not match the PWS. For example, PWS states 2919 DIDs while the spreadsheet states 30. Could you advise if there is a newer version of the spreadsheet available?

Answer: The DID portion is supposed to be per 100 lines, so you would need 30 to get the 2919 lines. If you have a price per individual DID instead of per 100, you can change the quantity from 30 to 2919.
